Requisitioned by Royal Navy in November 1914 as a minesweeper under pennant number FY422, then from March 1917 used a a 'Q' ship under the names BEN NEVIS, CLAYMORE, GIRDLER, GLEN AFRIC, HOPE, LARNE, ST.GOTHARD and SPIKA. Renamed officially to ANTIC in April 1918 and returned to Kelsall & Beeching as AUK again later in 1918. Sold in 1936 to by Brixham Trawlers (Dugdall & Son), Hull. |
